HOPE meets in the La Crosse area, serving homeschooling families with students in middle school and high school (grades 7-12) starting Fall 2025.
As you look at the schedule you may ask, do I have to enroll in all of these classes? No! While we will give priority to students wishing to take a full class load, these classes are offered a la carte. Enroll in as many or as few as you wish.
If your student has a break between classes, they will be able to spend time in our Monitored Lunch Room. Students can bring a quiet activity to do with friends, a snack or lunch, or they can use the time to work on other school work. Students will not be allowed to wander the building or travel outside if they are not in a class. Click below to view our handbook for more details.

In Exploring Creation with Physical Science, 4th Edition, students will explore the science of God’s physical laws of creation as they study chemistry, physics, earth science, and science research concepts. Students will complete labs and hands-on projects throughout the course for an immersive learning experience with practical application.

Apologia’s award-winning Exploring Creation with Physics Textbook, 2nd Edition, is part of Apologia’s award-winning science curriculum. It is designed to be completed in high school and is a college-prep level course. Students who take this course need to have completed Algebra 1 and Geometry, and have a basic understanding of the sine, cosine, and tangent definitions.
Join us as we explore the communication and culture of the spanish language. Curriculum under review.
French class for high school or middle school students. We will offer at beginner level for this class. More information to come.
We will be working through the Notgrass history. This is a wonderful literature forward approach to learning history. We will read, discuss and learn together utilizing the Notgrass "From Adam to Us". We intend to cycle this curriculum from year to year - jump in and join us!
High School levels will cycle through Notgrass History. Specific level TBD for 2025-2026 school year.
Let's paint! We will be exploring the world of watercolors. Additional supply cost for this class; will be communicated prior to class registration. More information to come.
This course is an introductory level using the IEW system of writing. Come join us and learn how to step up your game with your writing skills! Families will purchase the curriculum from IEW which includes video teaching sessions. Classtime will be used to review papers and discuss the homework completed at home. Specific Level TBD
